Origin[]
Noble is the warrior king of a race known as Lurkers, who lives in the ocean depths. Noble led his race in an attack on Poseidonis, destroying the dome around the city, then Aquaman and his troops go to battle. Aquaman knocks Noble out and the Lurkers are expelled. He quickly recovers in time to save an Atlantean child, which made Mera like him. Then Aquaman takes Noble to the surface which almost killed him but Aquaman spared his life.
Realizing his mistake Orin gives Noble a translating device and the position of commander, but Noble decides to return to his city. Aquaman and Mera accompany him on the journey, where she's captured by the Fire-Trolls . Aquaman defeats the creatures while Noble saves Mera. Recognizing their feelings for each other, Orin returns to home.
Judgment Day[]
Noble returns during the events of Judgment Day, to protect Atlantis. After being seriously wounded by a demon, he leaves his kingdom to his cousin Virtue, so he can rule the lost cities of the Lurkers.
