Niccol was a wanted criminal of the year 2098.
History[]
A time warp brought Niccol and his gang to Aquaman's time. He used a thought control gun on Mera, turning her to a loyal soldier of his cause. Curiously Niccol and his Futuremen nickname Mera, Aqua-Girl. Since Mera's powers are depicted as superior to those of Aquaman, Arthur has to outwit his opponent. The story has them confessing attraction to each other by the finale.
