Khalid Nassour is one of the Sentienls of Magic and student of Zatanna Zatara. He is also a Muslim descended from Arion, the progenitor of the Homo Magi race.[1]

- While in the comics, Khalid's bloodline that allows for mystic affinity due to being an ancestor of previous pharaohs, Khalid's Young Justice version gains his affinity through his ancestral connection to Arion, whose comic version is a major character in the Aquaman mythos. This connection is also similar to Zatanna's half-Homo Magi origins prior to the New 52 reboot, whom was hinted to have been a descendant of Arion thorugh her mother's side.
