Captain Demo is a high tech pirate, with his crew he dominated Atlantis using an experimental weapon that could destroy the underwater city. He sat on the throne of Atlantis and blackmailed Aquaman to obey his orders, Mera did not support the situation, Demo was distracted by Aquaman. Meanwhile, Mera blocked the signal, giving Aquaman a chance to knock Demo out. His crew was arrested by Topo.
