The Atlantis City Council is the current ruling body of Atlantis after the dissolution of the Atlantean monarchy done by Mera.[1] Prior, they were known as the Atlantean Royal Council or the Council of Elders, a governmental body charge with helping the monarch with making decisions on behalf of Atlantis and also existed as a form of a check and balance.
