Atlanna, known formerly as Queen Atlanna, is the mother of Aquaman and Ocean Master. A pure-bred Atlantean, she fell in love with a human by the name of Tom Curry and bore a Arthur from their brief union. Forced to take a her royal guard, Orvax Marius, as his king from her people, she also birthed Orm and was in an abusive relationship with her controversial husband.
After Orvax attempted to make Atlanna submit to him by claiming to have killed Tom Curry and Arthur, she killed her husband and fled her post as Queen by faking her death, leaving Orm as the King of Atlantis. She would also take Idyllist and fled to Pacifica through the Maelstrom.
